road trips with Jessi :)

I'm nineteen and a freshman at dixie state college. my boyfriend is eighteen and a senior at parowan high school. so, i spend a couple days a week driving to parowan to visit him or watch him play basketball. there is another boy on his team who one of my best friends, jessica carr, happens to be dating. she is also nineteen and not in high school. so together, we go to all of their basketball games. some are just in parowan so i meet her at the games and we watch together. others are in more distant places. such as richfield, north sevier, hurricane (which is actually closest for me), and our most recent road trip, gunnison. these road trips have been some of the best drives of my life. i love jess and we have so much fun talking, singing, laughing, and being crazy. she has become one of my best friends over the past couple months and im definitely looking forward to the next couple months of road trips!! :)

this was our second road trip. we talked the whole time. we didn't even have the radio on and didn't notice until we got to richfield. haha. definitely memories i wont forget :)
our road trip to gunnison this week was a blast. we sang the whole way there. memorizing random songs. hahahah. we'd both sing at the top of our lungs and not realize it. then look at each other and bust up laughing. our boyfriends would probably die if they saw us on our drives to and from their games. hahah. then the game was a ton of fun. jess and i always pay as adults and never thought anything different. however, at one game they asked if we were students or adults. thats when the bell rang, if we say we are students, it doesnt cost as much to get in. but at the next game, we both choked and couldnt claim we were students, so we paid as adults. then the next game, they didnt even ask. they charged us both as students which saved us two dollars. we hadn't talked about it really so when we walked in to gunnison high school and jess said she was a student, i did not expect it and busted up laughing, i was sure she would charge me as an adult. hahah. but i saved a dollar when i said i was a student too :) hahah. then the game started, ry got three fouls in the first four minutes. which was rough. but it kept the rest of the game entertaining. watching the cheerleaders, drill team, and opposing team crowd. i laughed for three straight quarters. then by the time we left, jess and i were pretty tired. so we went to the gas station and got energy drinks. and candy worms. within five minutes we were both laughing and hyper again. the boys stopped in richfield to eat so we drove 60 mph most of the way home. hahaha. with the sun roof open. and the heater cranked.... hahah. anyways, point is, road trips with my best friend are the best ever. i already can't wait for the next one. :)
jess is the proud mom of a beautiful one year old daughter. taylor ray hasn't come on long road trips with us, but she is going to start coming with us and im so excited!! she is so adorable!! so yesterday on the drive, we found a few of her binkies in the car :) hahha. so of course we had to be babies and take a pic :)

thats all for today... cant wait for the next one :)
